Colleges and universities are so much more expensive because parasites called ‘administrators’ must all get paid. At the expense of students and their parents. You could fire 95% of them, return governing authority to professors who do the real work - and save everyone $$.
Yale has nearly one bureaucrat for every undergraduate student — 6,401 management and professional staff and 6,667 undergraduates.
Since 1995, Yale’s bureaucracy has increased 147% while the student population has increased only 43% (and the undergrad population only 25%).

In 2008 China also announced a high-speed rail and has now connected the entire country with over 30,000 miles while California has connected 0 miles.
Over $500 million has gone to contractors who could not work, homes are currently being built on the alignment, and farmers will lose their farms. In this video I go down the alignment of the high speed rail exposing the failures and confront the legislators in charge of this absolute disaster of a project.

That night SpaceX put everything on the line.
December 21, 2015. Nearly 11 years later and it hits just as hard.
Return to flight after a rocket failure six months earlier. First Full Thrust Falcon 9. First attempt to land an orbital-class booster on land.
They had tried the droneship and failed. They had never successfully landed anything.
In mission control it was a tense count.
They went for it.
Nine minutes later a rocket that had just thrown satellites toward orbit dropped out of the Florida dark. A camera on the back of the booster caught the engines lighting, still one of the most insane images in spaceflight. Legs out. The Falcon has landed.
That was the peak of everything they had been working toward. The whole industry said it was impossible. They bet the company on that night anyway.
Spaceflight has never been the same.
