“Far right” is a propaganda term that became especially popular in recent years
Have you noticed the media overusing the term "far right" for Republicans (and conservatives in other countries) But wondered why they rarely use the term "far left" to describe Democrats? Here's the past 5 years of Google News trends. You don't hate the media enough.

What I like about the Cybercab is that it only has two seats. In the eight years I lived in Los Angeles and had a Tesla S, I used four seats twice, and two seats four times. So, most of the time I was driving alone. A smaller car that’s safe and drives itself would’ve been fabulous.
I still can’t believe the entire outer body of the Cybercab is PLASTIC. I think this is the first production Tesla vehicle built this way. Tesla molds the COLOR directly into the panels using reaction injection molding. Far from a traditional paint shop. A process that can take hours with normal automotive paint can now take minutes. Tesla says this cuts manufacturing emissions for those parts by around 35% and eliminates the paint VOCs from the traditional process. And before anyone says, “But what about safety?” The plastic exterior is not the crash structure. The massive front and rear giga castings underneath are doing that job. I rode in the Cybercab myself. Trust me, it does NOT feel cheap at all. It actually makes you realize what Tesla is trying to do here. Fewer parts. Fewer manufacturing steps. No traditional paint shop. Faster production. Lower cost. The unboxed process… This is so much more than Tesla just using plastic to make a cheap car. Tesla is completely rethinking how you build millions of robotaxis.

Grok Build just got another big update, taking another major step toward becoming a full agent workspace Desktop app tools now connect through a dedicated first-party MCP server, a new long-running workspace daemon can expose folders to Computer Hub, finished subagents can be continued instead of restarted, and background agents now return their actual output directly Add better diff previews, smarter tool priority, stronger safety around destructive Git commands, and faster session startup Release Notes: v1.0.22 Features: • Built-in agent tools now take precedence over user MCP servers when tool names collide. • Desktop app tools are now available through a dedicated first-party MCP server. • Remote control pickers can now group servers by device using announced device identity. • edit_file diffs now show real file line numbers instead of starting at line 1. • Permission prompts for file edits now auto-expand the diff row so you can see the change before approving. • Sending a message to a finished subagent now continues that same subagent instead of failing. • Background subagent completion messages now show the actual output instead of just a pointer to run the tool. • Dashboard now shows a unified header with location picker and an actions row for creating agents or resuming previous sessions. • New `grok-workspaced daemon` mode lets a long-lived process expose folders to the Computer Hub (separate from the Desktop-supervised sidecar). Bug Fixes: • MCP connectors now correctly show when they need re-authentication even if no tools are listed. • Extensions modal shortcuts now work when the tab bar is focused, and invalid actions on headers show helpful messages. • Send now button and shortcuts now work correctly when an automatic background turn is running. • Resumed sessions now show the exact text you typed for mid-turn follow-ups instead of the wrapped system message. • `/skills` command now updates the model with newly installed skills even when written from another NFS client. • Auto mode no longer instantly runs destructive `git checkout --` commands; they now go through the model for safety. • Fixed a crash that could occur when restoring pasted content after certain skill injections or rewinds. • Subagents and workflows now respect the same bash timeout and auto-background settings configured for the parent session. • Fixed model backend selection so an explicit chat_completions setting in config.toml is no longer overwritten by same-slug siblings. • Slash command advertisements no longer spam repeatedly when your current directory is your home folder. • Foreground shell commands no longer produce spurious background-task reminders or incorrect kill results. • Queued follow-up buttons now appear in the order [Send now][edit][cancel]. • `/compact instructions` in the pager are now passed to the compaction backend (bare `/compact` is unchanged). • `/goal` (and resume) after pressing Esc now correctly starts the goal planner instead of failing with "Planning failed". • run_terminal_cmd now correctly tells the model that foreground commands are backgrounded after ~15s instead of the 120s timeout value. • Skill announcements no longer repeat the same list of available skills multiple times in a session. • Monitor events in multi-session processes now correctly wake idle sessions instead of being buffered until the next prompt. Performance: • Opening or resuming sessions no longer pauses the interface while reading MCP config files.
Three Grok Build updates in a single day: v1.0.19 → v1.0.20 → v1.0.21 And the latest one keeps polishing the experience......permission modes now stay visible through plan mode, sessions open instantly when you start typing or pasting, and crowded terminal layouts behave properly The release cadence here is getting ridiculous again Release Notes: v1.0.21 Bug Fixes: • Permission mode (auto / always-approve) now stays visible when the agent enters plan mode and is restored on exit. • Typing, pasting, or pressing Shift+Tab on the welcome screen now immediately opens the session instead of creating a duplicate one. • Dock sections, queue body, and reveal rows now stay within their documented height rules even on crowded terminals.

“No,” Musk said. “No. NO.” There was a long pause. “No mirrors, no pedals, no steering wheel. This is me taking responsibility for this decision.”... “Let me be clear," he said slowly. “This vehicle must be designed as a clean Robotaxi. We’re going to take that risk. It’s my fault if it fucks up. ...” @elonmusk , 2022 — from @WalterIsaacson biography. Four years later, that bet looks like it paid off.

Elon Musk is right to call this out. He said calling people Nazis for centrist views insults those who suffered and died under the real Nazis. Those abusing it should be condemned. Calling people Nazis just because they hold views you oppose disrespects history and its victims.

Now the Third Man – Rudi Dutschke – The Man Who Gave the Long March Its Name. Gramsci invented the strategy. Dutschke named it – and then went out and implemented it, in the streets of West Berlin, in 1968, with a generation of students who had read Gramsci and were ready to march. 1. Born in East Germany in 1940, he fled to West Berlin in 1961 – two days before the Wall went up. He had seen actually existing socialism from the inside – and concluded not that the project was wrong, but that the method was. He didn’t want that version. He wanted a better one – built from the inside of the Western institutions rather than imposed from above by a party apparatus. 2. He read Gramsci. He read Mao. And he synthesized them into the phrase that named the entire project: der lange Marsch durch die Institutionen – the long march through the institutions. Not Gramsci’s phrase. Dutschke’s. Gramsci had described the mechanism. Dutschke gave it the slogan that made it actionable, transmissible, and operational for an entire generation. The phrase spread across Europe in 1968 like a match dropped in dry grass. Every student who heard it understood immediately what it meant and what it required. 3. The target was precisely identified: not the state, not the economy, but the institutions that reproduced the cultural hegemony – the universities, the media, the schools, the churches, the legal system. Infiltrate them. Occupy them from within. Replace the people who ran them with people who shared the counter-hegemonic project. Don’t storm the Reichstag. Get a job in the editorial office. Get a position in the faculty. Get appointed to the curriculum committee. The revolution would happen through tenure, not through barricades. 4. On April 11, 1968, Josef Bachmann shot Dutschke in the head on the Kurfürstendamm in West Berlin. Three bullets. Dutschke survived – but never fully recovered. He spent the rest of his life in partial recovery, moving between Germany, Denmark, and Britain, still writing, still thinking, still speaking at conferences with the damaged brain of a man who had been shot for his ideas. He died in 1979, drowning in his bathtub during an epileptic seizure caused by the brain damage from the shooting. He was thirty-nine. 5. The shooting produced something Bachmann had not intended: it made Dutschke a martyr and the movement a cause. The protests that followed — directed primarily at the Axel Springer media company, whose tabloid Bild the students blamed for inciting violence — were the largest street demonstrations in West Germany since the war. The attempt to silence the long march accelerated it. The generation radicalized by the shooting went on to become exactly what Dutschke had described: the professors, the journalists, the civil servants, the judges. The bullet proved his point. 6. Gramsci designed the theory in a prison in Italy. Dutschke gave it its name and its generation in Berlin. The 1968 student movement he led was the transmission mechanism – the moment the Prison Notebooks left the academy and became a political program with a slogan, a street presence, and a generational identity. Without Dutschke, Gramsci remains a text. With Dutschke, he becomes a movement. The long march through the institutions began, as a practical matter, in West Berlin in 1968, among students who knew precisely where they were going and had a name for the route. 7. The institutions they marched through are now theirs. The universities, the media, the civil service, the judiciary – all transformed, over fifty years, exactly as Dutschke described. He was shot for saying it could be done. It was done. The man who named the march did not live to see its completion. He died at thirty-nine in a bathtub, from the damage done by a bullet fired by someone who thought killing him would stop the march. It did not stop the march. It never does. Ideas shot in the head have a way of surviving their authors. Even the bad ones.
