Try Tesla self-driving. It will improve your quality of life and may save your life.
As someone who hates driving and lives in LA, FSD has had a disproportionately positive impact on my quality of life. It’s basically Xanax for the 405.

Should say that I personally still find the @Grok app more useful for some tasks than @Bot. Worth trying it out on super tough tasks if you haven’t in a while. apps.apple.com/app/id6670324…

Extending consciousness beyond Earth, ultimately to the stars, is a fundamentally good goal
SpaceX’s road to making humanity multiplanetary is really incredible when you see the milestones together - 2008 → Falcon 1 becomes the first privately developed liquid-fueled rocket to reach orbit - 2010 → Falcon 9 completes its first flight - 2012 → Dragon becomes the first private spacecraft to visit the ISS - 2015 → Falcon 9 lands on land for the first time - 2016 → First Falcon 9 droneship landing - 2017 → First Falcon 9 booster reflight - 2018 → Falcon Heavy launches for the first time - 2020 → SpaceX returns human spaceflight to America - 2021 → Starship SN15 completes a successful high-altitude flight and landing - 2021 → Inspiration4 becomes the first all-civilian crew to orbit - 2022 → Starship and Super Heavy become a full stack - 2023 → First integrated Starship flight - 2024 → Super Heavy gets caught by the launch tower for the first time - 2025 → A Super Heavy booster flies for a second time - 2026 → Starship V3 and Raptor 3 take flight 18 years of relentless iteration. Falcon 1 → Falcon 9 → Dragon → Falcon Heavy → Starship. Each milestone solved another piece of the puzzle And the destination has stayed the same from the beginning: Make life multiplanetary

How to share your Grok @Bot design with others
Grok Bot templates are the first widely available way to share knowledge work. A template is a collection of skills, memories, and plugins - you could even call it a 'blueprint' or a 'workflow' You can teach a bot about your domain and send it to someone as a link. This will fundamentally change how we work together. Here's how you can get started:

Been building out my army of personal assistant bots using (@bot). Thus far I have a: - House bot - keeps track of everything related to properties: taxes, HOA fees, maintenance, assessment values etc. It can email / call / schedule things as needed on my behalf. - Finance bot - this one needs work. I wish there was a Plaid integration for Grok bot. But the goal is to track spend. Right now it's not really doing much ... - LP bot - manages all paperwork personal LP investments - Family bot - I've already gotten in trouble with this one. But it helps me make sure I'm making enough space and time for my family. Checks my calendar, makes sure I have enough time for wife, kids etc. - News bot - aggregates news from X, traditional media etc. - Manager bot - helps manage all the other bots. Reports activity, and distributes tasks. This is all still experimental. But if it turns out to work well, will make the templates public.

BREAKING: SpaceX gets approval for 444 acres near the Port of Brownsville, clearing the way for a major expansion. The city also approved a major infrastructure agreement with SpaceX: • Up to $220 million for regional water and wastewater projects • An initial $40 million escrow contribution • Six additional quarterly payments of $30 million each • Projects capable of adding around 18 million gallons of water supply per day • Funding for water reuse, wastewater reclamation and expansion of the Southmost Regional Water Authority plant This is much bigger than a land deal. SpaceX is helping build critical infrastructure that could strengthen South Texas for generations.

Grok providing schooling in El Salvador
FULL INTERVIEW: Jen Kha says El Salvador gave every school free Grok and is deploying AI doctors. She says countries nobody expects are now outpacing America on adoption while America fights over data centers. @jkhamehl is a managing partner and head of global partnerships at @a16z. She joined @theojaffee and @sophiadew on announcement day for the $1.1B Machine Age Fund to walk through the thesis and break down why the physical layer under AI was uninvestable for 30 years and isn't anymore: 00:38 why the timing of this fund says everything about the cycle 02:40 following the nerd energy 02:59 software's eating the world, but AI already solved software 04:44 23% of all venture capital this year 06:09 SpaceX public, Anthropic and OpenAI next, and what that does to LPs 07:36 the partner who said they'd deploy the whole fund in six weeks 10:01 the president of Korea's first and only US stop was Silicon Valley 10:15 NVIDIA is bigger than every G7 country except the US 12:27 South Korea, El Salvador and the countries adopting AI faster than America 14:33 why she thinks the data center narrative got ahead of reality 16:31 under 2% of US electricians are trained on DC power 17:45 agents now use 5x the tokens humans do 19:24 why these founders are a throwback, and where they're spinning out from

Extremely severe extinction events happen every 100M years or so and just switching to sustainable energy will not be enough to stop them. Space satellites to control temperature and massive geo-engineering will be needed or it will be game over. grok.com/share/bGVnYWN5_dfaa…

And that is, of course, how it will be done. Sentient satellites, launched into Earth-Sun Lagrange points by mass drivers on the Moon, can solve global warming for ~1B years.

But we do need to act much faster than that if people still want to live where the beach is today. We have about 50 years or so to take action, which should be more than enough time for the space satellites to solve any heating problems. grok.com/share/bGVnYWN5_2e24…

Falcon Heavy launches exploration misison
Falcon Heavy sent Psyche toward a metal-rich asteroid, Europa Clipper to Jupiter’s Moon, and GOES-U into transfer orbit to improve NOAA’s weather forecasting. Falcon 9 launched NASA’s PACE mission to study Earth’s ocean and atmosphere and SPHEREx to map the history of the universe. The Falcon family has enabled NASA to reach farther and explore more of the universe, and missions like Roman continue that work

Jensen Huang says the first AI supercomputer he ever built had exactly one customer on earth: Elon Musk. Back in 2016, he had just created a machine called the DGX1. It cost $300,000 dollars. He announced it on stage, and the room went completely silent since nobody understood it, so nobody wanted to buy it. Since Elon knew him because Nvidia had built the first self-driving computer for the Tesla Model S, Elon bought & tried it. Elon said he had a small company that could use it. Jensen boxed one up himself and drove it to San Francisco. He carried it up to a room full of researchers. That tiny company turned out to be OpenAI. The machine nobody wanted went on to launch the AI revolution. — Jensen Huang (.@JensenHuang)
Elon Musk says the AI boom hits a WALL this year when we run out of power to run the chips. He says the whole industry is about to learn a hard lesson in hardware. Chip output is exploding, but electricity is nearly flat everywhere outside China. So the two lines cross this year. He says by the end of the year, we will be making more AI chips than we can actually turn on. Millions of them pile up with nowhere to plug in. In his words, the bottleneck for the next year is not chips, it is raw power. Whoever can turn on the most chips fastest wins the race. In the end, the AI race comes down to one thing: Raw electricity. — Elon Musk (.@elonmusk) on Dwarkesh Patel's (.@dwarkesh_sp) podcast
