The Tesla Cybercab doesn't have ANY brake fluid. It is the first production vehicle to have a brake-by-wire system. Electronic actuators are responsible for the clamping pressure, rather than hydraulic fluid that you see in traditional vehicles. This system improves efficiency since the brake pads can fully disengage. They can go entirely off or on. It also enables Tesla to fine-tune the braking to be as smooth as possible. PLUS, when the car is built with the unboxed process, Tesla doesn't need to run any brake lines, everything is seamless.

The Cybercab motor uses no rare earth metals, but maintains the same range! This was extremely hard to achieve.
The Cybercab drive unit features a simplified bar-wound stator and lubrication system, plus an overall architecture that enables fully automated, sub-10-second cycle times. It is 18% smaller, 25% lighter and more efficient than other top performing electric vehicle drive units.

Having electric brakes avoids the complexity of a hydraulic system: no need to rout plumbing all around the car
Cybercab uses individual actuators on each brake caliper. Zero brake lines or fluid. This probably makes the unboxed process possible/easier because there are no brake lines running throughout the length of the vehicle, super neat.

An extraordinary map shows the extent that births have fallen around the world. France, Germany, Italy and the UK peaked in births more than 100 years ago. East Asia, Russia and much of Eastern Europe are now 75% below their peaks in births! Thanks @ErminiaDark
A map of the peak birth years of each country and their decline since then. Produced with Wikipedia articles, a calculator, and a lot of autism. We live well into the age of demographic decline. @MoreBirths @BirthGauge @Smirkley @lymanstoneky @SimoneHCollins

I’m so glad this is being done! An important next step is making it autonomous.
This is the electric plane Elon dreamed of! Anders Forslund of Heart Aerospace joins @Jason to show off their electric plane, which used up just $5 worth of power for a full 20-minute trip. Could this change short-haul flights? What locations would these flights best be used at?

Probably over 30k people working in high-paying jobs at Tesla HQ & manufacturing in Austin by 2028!
Texans love Robotaxi They are all made in Austin by local people and with parts mostly sourced within the USA About 16,500 people work for Tesla at Giga Texas and in the Austin area Thank you Elon Musk ♥️

I am not exaggerating, there are Unsupervised Cybercabs without steering wheels or pedals all over Austin, TX right now at almost every corner. It is SO BEAUTIFUL on the road. The glossy gold (first time seeing it) is stunning in the sun. I also LOVE how massive the wheels look. This is literally the future. I’m in @Robotaxi heaven right now.

Cybercabs have no steering wheels or pedals. They are designed and built for maximally efficient autonomous operation.
Driving around Austin, Texas with my 5-year-old and 8-year-old when we spotted a driverless Tesla Cybercab in the wild. So naturally… we started chasing it. My kids grabbed the phone and filmed the whole thing. This is literally their footage. And then it hit me… They may be two of the youngest kids in the world to ever see a driverless Cybercab operating on public roads. Something they would not see today if they were at school today. I don’t think they fully understand how big this moment is yet. They just see a cool car driving itself. But this is the world they’re going to grow up in. A world where cars drive themselves, Robotaxis pick you up, and transportation looks completely different from what Daddy grew up with. To me, this feels like the future. To them, it might just feel normal. One day they’ll look back at this video and realize they were there when that future was just beginning.
