Grok Bot never sleeps! Elon just highlighted the real difference with Grok Bot. It runs on its own remote computer managed by SpaceXAI. Close your laptop, reboot your desktop, go to sleep, whatever. The Bot keeps working. That is the core advantage over most other agent setups right now. Self-hosted options like Hermes or OpenClaw need a machine that stays on. If that machine is your laptop, the agent stops when you close the lid. If it is a VPS you manage, you are still responsible for uptime, updates, and security. Grok Bot removes that entire layer. SpaceXAI provisions and runs the computer. One computer per account, shared across all your Bots. Browser sessions, files, and logins stay live. One Bot can pick up exactly where another left off without re-authenticating or moving files around. You can also record a workflow once (up to ten minutes) and turn it into a reusable skill. Lowest friction path I have seen for teaching an agent a multi-step process. The practical result is simple: you can hand off real work and walk away. Sales follow-ups, bug reproduction, invoice processing, research that needs to run overnight. The Bot does not need your local machine to stay alive. That is the difference Elon is pointing at.
Grok @Bot has its own remote computer @SpaceXAI, so keeps working even when you close your laptop or reboot your desktop. Big difference.

BREAKING: Grok 4.6 just tied for #1 on the Artificial Analysis Agentic Index.⚡🤖 • Grok 4.6 (High) — 59 • Claude Opus 5 (Max) — 59 Grok 4.6 is now at the top of the benchmark, ahead of other leading models. The Agentic Index focuses on capabilities that matter for real-world AI agents — tool use, planning, autonomy, and complex problem-solving. This is especially significant as Grok expands into Grok Build and Grok Bot, where AI needs to do more than answer questions — it needs to use tools and complete tasks. Source: Artificial Analysis

Grok Bot is amazing, holy F. My Grok Bot finished cleaning my 100,000 unread email inbox mess, and is now going through and unsubscribing me from all of the junk responsible for making the mess in the first place. Here are two screenshots below; one of my Grok Bot giving me the play-by-play, and another of the Bot's linux machine, where it is on Chrome physically unsubscribing from everything for me. When it can't complete execution, it just tells me to jump onto the chrome browser and do the final click. But it has completed most of them autonomously. Truly epic.
I woke up this morning to a message from my Grok Bot that my email inboxes are clean. I opened up my gmail app to confirm 🥰 Now that we’ve cleaned up the mess, it’s time to kill the problem from the source. HBIC is on it.

My workflows changed when I started treating each Grok Bot like an application Client: chat Server: @bot DB: anything (gh, sheets, SaaS) I've been white-pilled on "agents for everything" - thin client, thick server

Grok @Bot can make videos explaining complex concepts
I asked Grok @bot to explain rank, spectral power, and optimization in geometrical terms, and compare them with Adams, Muons, and Aurora. Below is the result. If you have any suggestions on how to make this video better and more intuitive, please comment below. My Grok @bot will pick them up and incorporate your ideas.
